Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR®)

   

Continuing Education Credit: Although the ABR® course has undergone a revision (March 2007 and December 2007), the concepts and objectives have not changed so it is not necessary to resubmit this course for Continuing Education Credit.  Please note that the content and structure of this course has been reconfigured.

• ABR^® Candidacy Application  
  This form has replaced the "ABR® Application Form." All participants are to complete this application form and it is to be sent to REBAC.  Requirements for the ABR® designation include being an active member in REBAC and the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®.

• Instructor Evaluation Forms    
  This evaluation form is to be completed by participants at the end of the course and submitted to REBAC.
   
• Course Career Path
  This document is a graphic representation of the education path a student takes to earn the ABR® designation. It illustrates which ABR® elective courses can be applied towards other designations. It is recommended that this one page graphic is printed (in color) and given to students at the beginning of class.
   
• Instructions for REBAC Print Shop  (a member benefit loop to run at break time)
  This PDF can be saved to automatically open in Full Screen mode, but by default Acrobat will not advance the slides unless the preferences are changed. 
      To run the presentation:
      1) Open Acrobat Reader and then open the Print Shop PDF
      2) From "Edit" pull down menu, Select "Preferences" (edit>preferences):
           - Select "Full Screen (located on left side of screen).
           - Adjust the "Advance every xx seconds" to about 10 seconds and check the "Loop after last page" to repeat the slides.
      3) Click the "OK" button to save the settings.
      4) From "View" pull down menu, select "Full Screen" mode.

This course requires the most recent version of the Code of Ethics.  Since the Code is a living document, it needs to be downloaded new each and every time this course is printed/presented.  This will help to ensure the most recent version of the Code of Ethics is being used.
